FAQS
FAQS
-
Where is Our Pride located?
We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne, in multiple locations. Please see the individual events pages for full information
-
Is Our Pride Accessible?
Given our small budget and venue constraints, we aim to be as accessible as possible. Please see each event for more details. Our main event on Saturday is wheelchair-friendly, with an accessible toilet, but it is best to check with the venue for any needs you may have. The film screening also has wheelchair access, but please get in touch with the venue for more details.
-
Is Our Pride family friendly?
We have aimed to cater to a variety of attendees. Some of our events are not suitable for children, but some are! Please see each event for more details.
-
How is Our Pride funded?
This year’s Our Pride has been made possible through generous fundraising (just over £3000). Organising the entire festival is costly and time-consuming with just one person. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work tirelessly to bring you the best possible experience. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
-
Is Our Pride Neurodivergent friendly?
As with any festival experience, certain events will have loud noises and flashing lights. We are neurodivergent-run and recognise the need for ND-friendly spaces. With our limited funds and the content we deliver, we aim to make events as calming as possible. We want to assure you that we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. Events are not masked, but of course, feel free to wear one if you would like to.
